REVIEW 15: The Bad Boy of Redemption Ranch (A Gold Valley Novel,) Book 9

The Bad Boy of Redemption Ranch: I guess i will find out if taking books in a series out of line will affect how you view the series. The book appears to stand alone, except for a couple references to things in the past of the characters that must have played out in earlier books. I plan to eventually collect the whole series. This book is really good. It is about an excon cowboy who had been framed nd was eventually vindicated and released, because he was framed by his exwife. She ended up taking his place in prison. After his release he moved to the town his bioloogical father was from, and made contact with his father and a bunch of half brothers, and sisters. On his way into town, he was pulled over for driving too fast. The officer that gave him the ticket was a quick witted young lady officer. They banter a little as she wrote the ticket and ran his id as he was new in town. It was the handsome cowboy that figured out where he had seen her name before after reading her name tag. She was a renter on a piece of property he had bought in town and was moving into the big house on that property. She about choked when he not only figured out her first name, but announced he was her new landlord. lol Being the good officer she gave him the ticket. They both went on their way, but they both felt an attracting to each other. A short time later she saw his truck parked in a loading zone, and was putting the ticket under his windshield, as he came out of a nearby bar. When he asked what she was doing, she said he was parked in a loading zone. He replied YES BECAUSE I AM LOADING. She looked suspiciously as he walked back into the bar and he and the bar owner came out caring a piece of furniture. It had historic value in Texas, and the bar owner was just going to throw it out so West bought It from him, and they were loading it in the truck. West being annoyed with her turned to her and asked if she was still going to give him the ticket. She said no, because he was loading. They kept finding ways to run across each other for a while before they both gave into their impulses. There is a lot more to this book, but long story short. It is a good book, and they get married in the end. As I acquire the others in the series I will let you know how the story goes.
